2011-2012 CSA Share Membership
Anticipated dates - 10/21/11-5/26/12

CSA stands for community Supported Agriculture.
To learn more about what a CSA is, please check out our CSA Information page.

Please read everything carefully before you sign up to determine if this program is right for you.

Members are provided with a weekly box of fresh vegetables direct from the farm based on the availabilty of harvest. The advantages to a CSA share is that the difference in taste is remarkeable because everything is picked ripe and fresh! Also, you know the farmer who grew it. If we supplement an item in your box from another farm, you will know exactly which farm it came from and where they are located. Rest assured we will never bring produce from a farm we do not trust into the CSA and everything is local.

Much like a share purchased in a company, CSA shares carry risks as well. If there is a good week, then the baskets will be plentiful. If there is a poor harvest week, then the baskets will not be plentiful. Also, varieties are given based on what is available during that week. You will not receive anything that is imported from outside the USA, so varieties will be limited to seasonal growing in our local region of the country. By joining, you are aknowledging and accepting these terms. If this is not what you expect, then this may not be the right membership for you.

You have the option to subscribe for either a Full Share Weekly, Half Share Weekly, or Half Share Bi-weekly. All shares are charged in advance for a 4 week period. We require 4 weeks participation because this is truly the minimum time required to get a good idea of the variety. Also, by subscribing, you understand that you will be billed every 4 weeks in advance for the membership. There are limited number of shares available. If the CSA becomes full, you can request to be added to a wait list.

Once the CSA is opened up, membership must be purchased by 5:00 pm Monday of the current week in order for your basket to be available the Friday of the same week. Any subscriptions purchased after this day and time will commence on the Friday of the following week.

CSA Members must pick-up their baskets from our Pompano location every Friday between 2:00 pm - 6:30pm, or Saturday from 10:00am to 3:00pm unless you make other arrangements.  Any possible deliveries must be arranged separately. You may see specified on your receipt of purchase your shipping address with comments for delivery, but please note, delivery will not occur unless arrangements have been made specifically.

You may unsubscribe at any time in 4 week increments. If you wish to unsubscribe after joining, please contact us.

Feel free to contact us at 954-586-6686 if you have any questions or would like more information.

Full Share $58 per week (Prices have increased from last season)
